Preventative Health Care

Vaccinations: 

It is important to vaccinate your pets on a yearly basis to prevent life threatening diseases such as Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza virus and Leptospirosis for dogs and we also recommend yearly kennel cough vaccinations.


For cats we recommend yearly vaccinations against Herpesvirus, Calicivirus Panleukopenia virus and Leukaemia virus.

We provide a 24/7, 365 day on call service to our clients.


In addition to all routine veterinary work we provide:


  • Advice regarding farm biosecurity and the use of vaccinations.
  • Herd health monitoring and nutrition advice, including forage and blood analysis for mineral.
  • Advice regarding mastitis control programmes and dealing with problems such as high somatic cell counts.
  • Fertility work including pre and post breeding ultrasound scanning and bull fertility testing.
